Best In Vancouver: Whiplash Escalade

Fresh from their performance at the Roxy, Whiplash Escalade are ready to take Studio by storm! I snagged a quick conversation with Rob about the upcoming competition.

James: How did you find out about "Best In Vancouver"?
Whiplash Escalade: As a high-energy act that performs regularly in the Granville entertainment district, we were asked to play in the BIV show by our good looking friends at Rednyne Productions.

James: What sets you apart from other bands?
WE: Not just another bunch of pretty faces, Whiplash Escalade is different; Logan, Adam, Chris and myself bring a special energy to the stage and we look forward to sharing that with the audience at every show.

James: Do you have anything special for your show planned?
WE: We will be performing our new single "Heart Attack" at our BIV show on October 9th. Our shows are always special to us... because of the audience!  Its funny, we were almost kicked off the stage last night at The Roxy because the stellar crowd kept asking for encores.

James: What do you think about battle of the bands competitions and how they influence the scene?

WE: Personally, I think any sort of competition is healthy for anyone. It is important to remember we are animals and everybody doesn't win at everything.
